About Alex

Alexandre Bello is a Dutch photographer raised between Paris and Antwerp, now based in Amsterdam. He picked up his first camera at 24, and what began as a curious hobby quickly became a passion and a way of seeing the world more closely.

Over the years, Alexandre has gained experience across various fields of photography, including portraits, events, and landscapes, but his main focus has naturally shifted toward what inspires him most: nature, wildlife, and underwater photography. His undeniable passion for nature and the underwater world made this an obvious direction.

“Ever since I was a little boy, as far back as I can remember, I have always felt attracted to nature and the sea. My camera gives me the opportunity to actively explore it. Photography brings me to the most beautiful places around the world and up close with the most extraordinary animals. There is nothing more exciting than capturing these unique moments, preserving them forever, and sharing them with others.

With my photography, I always try to tell a story that connects visually and emotionally. Our planet faces great challenges due to pollution and overfishing. I am convinced that images can change perceptions and awaken empathy, helping to inspire choices and actions that are beneficial to our planet and its animals.”

Today, Alexandre continues to travel around the world, capturing remarkable landscapes and unforgettable wildlife encounters. He is available for assignments, projects, and collaborations.
